Hi,

I'm using the Yuzu emulator to play this game and I've managed to complete one route so far.

I played the DLC and I've managed to complete chapter 5, but the game crashes immediately after starting chapter 6 as it starts loading the map.

I was wondering if anyone has save files for chapter 6 or 7 so I could bypass this issue.

Thanks :)

I've bypassed the crash using Yuzu version 41. In my case i saved before the battle with my usual version, loaded with yuzu 41 and saved in the battle preparation menu (i have AMD and it didn't render the text). Then you load the file from your usual version and it shouldn't crash. If that doesn't work here is the completed DLC save file

Does this even work?
I am pretty sure the check if the Side Story is completed, is not stored in that file but in a separate file, ex00 maybe?
So, yeah, I can't get the abyss01 to do anything on its own. Would you mind sharing the other files as well?

Seems like I am an Idiot.
It works fine.
You just need to have Side Story Save in the second slot to override so you can actually load the provided save. Which then just flashes a THE END screen and lets you save a completed file.
This then unlocks the Completion Rewards(10.000R+Chalice). However, It seems to not provide the ability to enter the Abyss or to recruit any of the Ashen Wolves. This means either you have to play the Side Story up to Chapter 6 or someone who has completed the Side Story will have to share their system file.

EDIT: here is my system file.
It SHOULD unlock access to the Ashen Wolves and the Completion Rewards.
I don't know how much other data is saved in the system file so I am going to assume using this one is only really viable on a fresh game or if you don't mind losing progress.

Question for me it crashes in chapter 5 if i jus look around the map and atack or do a gambit with any unit what i can do to solve it? I tried using yuzu 41 but when starts doesn't let me use any keys, any input at all.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
