Let's say I want to play something else, then return to the same code, how do I save it so I don't need to reenter it...?
I think the 3.6.2 change log tells you how to save
try push START in cheat editor
microsd might need to be 32gb or less to save

I shall go add a cheat folder and try again. Cheat or cheats? Technology is too specific sometimes

so, it is as 'simple' as finding an address that contains the value of the address for the plays?
or, as you say another layer in this case, so an address that contains the value for an address that contains the value of the plays? :)
is that hard to find?

Yeah, that is sort of the idea. It is mainly finding the address that contains the address of the overall structure, as that itself is more likely to be a constant value. It is possible the structure address itself might not point directly to the number of plays, in which case, that is where the offsets come into play. Address is loaded, then if it is more than one layer deep, next addresss is loaded, and eventually, it reaches to where the actual location is. This generally is a bit more tricky to find, but this of course has a payoff of not having to search for the addresses anymore, when the actual offsets change.

One thing that always put me off playing Yoshi Island games were the stars. You'll lose some of them when a enemy hits you and Mario floats around crying.
It always pissed me off to lose some of them right before the end of the level accompanied by that annoying baby cry just to miss the perfect score.

To get around this I found for Yoshi's New Island EU (I'm using a o3DS):

[always have 30 stars]
007A46FC 0000001E

This code has no effect on the baby mario timer though, so you'll still lose a life if it reaches 0.

Then I found also this:

[always have 20 red coins]
007A46FD 00000014

The next ones are from gateway's recommended cheat sites. I can confirm them to be working.

[always have 5 flowers]
207A46FE 00000005

[unlimited coins]
207A47BD 00000063

[unlimited lifes]
207A47BE 00000063

I also tried to find a code for an infinite baby mario timer, but the offset changed every time i closed the game.
Offsets that I found were first 089F15E4, then 089FCC64, and then 089FCD64. Using one of the offsets found in a previous play it always crashed the game. Maybe someone other has an idea to get around this, but keeping the timer working leaves at least some challenge.

i increased the moon jump variable to 42000000 and that was finally enough to break me out of bounds and combined with an anti moon jump code to make me fall fast, i could control my descent past the door of time :) before i would go too far, or not break out of bounds
the anti moon jump code also let me go down the zora well early and get the ruto's message easily :)

Seems the updated codes for badge arcade o3DS USA are

32C22D5C - practice
32868C4C - free play

I am now doing ram dumps, so that when the offsets change once again, I can hopefully work out a pointer code, so that we don't have to keep searching for semi-static addresses. I think I kind of have one sort of worked out, except that it appears to be more than one layer deep, as I have kind of noticed the pointer address did shift around as well. Sadly, I didn't keep the previous ram dumps, so I gotta wait till they change the offsets once again.

can you please post the .txt cheat codes for us people who don't know/ to lazy to learn how to do it? please and thank you.

Is there any tutorial how to create a cheat list?
I have the address that change specific item in the bag
So I make new text file and name it the id of the game, then put the address in the first line?
But how i can make it change the value instantly?

I have finally figured out a working code for giving Mario infinite HP during battle in Paper Jam!

D3000000 10000000
152379FC 00007FFF

D3000000 10000000
1523B1C8 00007FFF

D3000000 10000000
1523B220 00007FFF

I just realized that this code also makes the game crash and require a 3DS hard shutdown when entering an item shop...

are those from in battle? if yes then the address should be dynamic
you could edit out of battle hp to 999

sure ok, but if we share cheats, it is nice to have for the latest version. (my opinion anyway) :)
@dsrules, did the code ever work for you? only once, and now 6 times no...? very annoying

@Errorjack - i'm on 1.1, and my code worked for me twice. maybe you misunderstood me, sorry!

Well I just confirmed what I thought, I got 1.0 version of Majora's Mask 3D USA and the value was static. It seems the game that has the update built-into the game causes dynamic addresses. So I finally made a proper code for Majora's Mask 3D USA.

[Hold X+A Moonjump ONLY 1.0]
DD000000 00000401
19148C4A 0000CB40

EDIT: Nevermind, it is different in every area.

Did you check @cearp if the EUR code works in every map? It might change depending on what map you are.

crazy programmers, I definitely will not install the update lol
btw, it has been confirmed Ocarina moonjump is 32bit float value, I guess it would also be the same for MM

I just updated my post, it's dynamic and changes every time you enter a new map. Way harder than I thought. I need @cearp to check out EUR because his code might be dynamic as well.

Can someone help and get this code working and possibly get another code or so for this game.
Tried getting the exp address for about 30 mins, failed but I did find a stat increase cheat for the main character. You have to be on the level up screen where you distribute stat points, normally you can only add 1 stat per level but you can increase it to your liking up to a point.

(Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker - Atlus)

08499F44 00000028

Code above adds 40 stat points to distribute which is safe. You have to distribute the point(s) to leave the level up screen, so don't add too many or you'll eventually level up and be unable to leave that screen. There's 4 stats total with a cap of 40 each (160 stat max) and the game gives you 4 in each stat (guessing here) so that leaves you with 144 open stat points to distribute. Assuming level 99 is max (don't know) and you start at the game at level 1 (guessing), you should be able to distribute 98 total stats in the game without cheats. Code above gives you an extra 40 (39 actually since you leveled up) to distribute, so only use it once then turn off the cheat.

Hopefully that makes sense, the max extra stats should be a little higher but I don't feel going back to check the initial stats and if you start at level 1, also have no idea if level 99 is max for this game, not familiar with the series. I'll post the code later to fort42 when its up.
