GBAtemp Skin Contest Voting

The entries for the GBAtemp Official Skin Contest are in, and the staff have decided to open the voting to the members.

Unfortunately, the majority of the staff came to the decision that no particular entry turned out to be what we were looking for in a new skin for GBAtemp. It's not that any of them were bad (ok, except two!

), it's just we thought none of them would "fit" GBAtemp.

The winning skin will be taken into consideration, and will have a good chance of becoming a skin on GBAtemp! (The coding takes a lot of work). Even if the winning entry doesn't become a real skin - this doesn't mean you will see the same looking GBAtemp forever!

So, the winner is up to you, so vote sensibly! The poll for voting is in this topic, and is also displayed on the portal/homepage.

The winner will receive an X-Rom 512Mb from EasyBuy2000!

Good luck!

VOTING WILL END 11th April 2005 at 21:00(GMT).

Was kind of hard to choose between Darkforce and Squiffy but I chose Darkforce, because it's similar, it's subtle yet professional and I love the colors. Good job everyone!!

I had to vote Squiffy. I liked the change in banner placement. It's more slim and it's not directly in the center.

I'm sure this has been discussed but isn't it possible for this site to use multiple skins? For example check out NGEmu. That site gives the user control of the skins they'd like to see. Though ngemu has been having problems lately I think you can still change the skin of it. Anyway just a thought.

Edit: Well awhile back before they had problems you were able to change them. It doesn't work now, but I still think it's a nice addition.

Yes, but there can only be one winner. Plus these skins aren't already made. They have to be translated to HTML and the IPB templates.
