Hi again GBATemp,
I finally replaced my malfunctioning O3DSXL. I've successfully installed CFW on my shiny N2DSXL.
At first, only titles installed from eShop were on my home menu. I did some looking around, and figured out how to backup my tickets from my O3DSXL, and used FBI to install those tickets.
Now, however, only titles installed via CIA are on my home menu - none of my eShop titles are on my home menu. freeShop reports them as installed already, and my only option is to delete them (which will delete saves, as well) and reinstall them, then restore all the saves with JKSM (I've already backed up all saves just in case).

If possible, I'd like to avoid having to manually delete and reinstall every single title from freeShop. I've looked around, but can't seem to find a means of generating tickets only for the titles which are missing tickets. I repeat: I want to get tickets for installed titles which are missing tickets. They are already installed, they just need tickets. Is there any way to do this currently? I appreciate any help. :)

You want to take a look at tikshop which should restore the tickets missing.

I did see mention of tikShop somewhere, but upon investigation, I found that it's no longer being developed. I figured it was a dead end. With your suggestion, then, I assume tikShop is still functional?
EDIT: More importantly, the project is no longer on GitHub.

tikShop works, be sure to run tikSweep after you do because tikShop downloads every ticket available in the eShop. tikSweep gets rid of the ones you don't need.
download them both through the TitleDB in FBI
Ah, cool. I didn't even notice FBI had such a thing until earlier when I was poking through FBI trying to figure something out. Didn't pay much attention to what was there, though! Thanks. :)

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
