Gericom MPEG4 player dropping frames.

So I was trying to play Band Geeks on my DSi, and it started skipping/dropping frames. Audio plays, but video seems to be locked up. I can go back to the file selection menu and replay, but eventually it will start again. I encoded with ffmpeg compiled from source. Maybe the Trashy Mac I encoded it with is the problem? I'm stupid, forgot to research.
