Camelot stated they will make a Golden Sun for the Wii

What do you think about it ?

Where did they state they were doing this. I know there was an interview where they were asked about a Camelot RPG for the Wii and they said "is that still in development?" or something like that and then later stated they were still interested in Golden Sun.

i don't see why they wouldn't make one eventually, they have a series that is hugely popular it makes sense to make some sort of wii version. If they do, i hope they put the time and effort into it and not just make some sloppy game and hope it sells on the golden sun name, but if i could put trust in anyone it would be camelot. I mean, look what they did with mario golf and tennis on the gba, they were just awesome.

Personally, i'm tired of all these Golden Sun rumors, this has been discussed many times in threads, weather the game will be made or if it will continue the story, and frankly there is no reason to create more threads about this. Unless you have definite proof of the game's development with a reliable source. If not, then don't post a thread just to discuss the possibilities of Golden Sun 3... but who are you to listen to me.

Golden Sun is so overrated...
Seriously, what makes it better than any other RPG out there?
The story is lame, the dialogues are endless and boring, the characters are overly stereotypical and have little personality, the plot makes no sense (it's like most of the game you're forced to do sidequests, which don't add to the slim storyline at all, before you can proceed), it's repetitive and the combats are fucking annoying even for RPG standards...

But on another note, Golden Sun is quite the original RPG, with a fresh new storyline, a ton of characters, and an excellent Battle system. How many great RPG's for the GBA can you name that aren't rehashes?

Don't forget the dungeons.
The puzzles in the dungeons are what MAKE this game. Some of these are devious and even better than Zelda dungeons.

I think they should leave the series as it is and just do a remake on the wii.

I hate random battles.

At least Pokemon has grass areas where you know Pokemon will come out.
The entire Golden Sun game is just made up of random battles.

But I guess the animations were good...
