NXE is pretty confusing the interface, I dont know how to look at my friends or if they are online. Anybody want to help out an Xbox newb?

well you put in the disc to play that's all i know

I'm kidding well i know that if you connect to xbox live to get demos,videos,ect ummmmmm thats it other than it can play dvds and music cds sry

There's a section for friends. Just move the left stick up until it says Friends. If you're in a game or something, press the big X button in the middle of your controller to bring up a little menu that tells you pretty much everything.

I go to the friends section, but it only says Add Friends, when i already added VVoltz and ishownomercy ( hes a cod4 player )..
so idk whats up.

Have they added you back? That might be a problem, but I'm not sure if that's what could cause them not to show up. Never had that problem =\.

Press the X button in the middle of the joypad and it should bring up a menu. Move left until you get to Marketplace and Active Downloads is in there.
