how good is my tv?

hi, i recently got a samsung 940mg, with a max resolution of 1440 x 900

i was wondering how good would this be if i tried playing my 360 or ps3, and under what "p" would it be? i know it's not 1080p caz, well resolution not high enough

When I had to use my computer LCD for my 360 (Not really "had to", I just refused to play it any other way.) I ran it in 720p on my 19" Widescreen LCD.

Umm, it looks like a 19" widescreen LCD monitor, which isn't really a TV. But anyway, 1440x900 is pretty good I guess. It's between 720p which is 1280x720 and 1080p which is 1920x1080. If you used a 360 or PS3 on it it would probably be 720p, not completely sure though since I don't own any of these.

yah sounds like a widescreen monitor. the diff in 720p and 1080p is razor thin on monitor due to its size.

also, i called it a tv caz it's got all the ports a tv has (the vid in/vid out/antenna slot,etc, ie. i can watch tv on it just by pluggin an external antenna into it
