This is when Gen 5 was going on. I played through half of Black and maybe a third of Black 2 and decided to stop playing Pokemon as a whole for a few years.
I got rid of all the games above during this time, which was such a big mistake. ._.

Game Boy: Blue, Yellow, TCG, Gold (have the strongest memories of playing it on a Super Game Boy, and oh boy, Whitney's miltank...ow.), Crystal
GBA: Pokemon Emerald, Pokemon LeafGreen, Pokemon Sapphire (got this used and late in the console life)
DS: White, Soul Silver, Platinum, Diamond (my diamond cart died, and my platinum cart got wrecked...)
3DS: X, Alpha Sapphire, Moon

I am currently working on Black 2, the translation of TCG 2 and Ultra Moon.

14 completed. Not many. I don't play many of the spin-offs (although rumble blast and ranger were fun!)

..That's beaten, as in the Elite Four/'end game', not fukkin caught em all... I've tried a couple of spinoffs but meh, apart from the fabulous Puzzle League on the N64 (beaten of course). Beat Battle Revolution on Wii, not bad, but like Stadium/2 was more for hooking up with the lads/handhelds and battling on the big screen.
Not bothered with Ultra, enjoyed Moon up to the end game but totally lost interest in filling up the dex etc.
Didn't like the Mystery Dungeon et al - enjoyed the first Battle Rumble (?? whatever it's called!) on was it the Wii, but the rest of those have been shite too.
Still playing Go *runs before a shoe hits him* it's great as a companion to and from work (yah I live in walking distance)
But yeah, main games = 14

Played all except the Sun/Moon and X/Y. As a hardcore pokemon fan and collector I'm ashamed to say that those were the worst pokemon games out there

I will buy the new Switch one for sure. I did play the 3DS pokemon game for about 1/2 an hour until they I got EXP share. Then I decided to stop playing. In hindsight, EXP share is.. maybe a good thing?
