My 128 g Samsung card was asking for an update .

So you have to format it to fat32 from exfat

Just formatted exfat 128g card into fat32 using
http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

on the pc

loaded up the card.

quick question, I have not connected or even tried to connect my switch to a router.

Do I have to connect first to a wlan and input the wps key code THEN change the DNS?

I do not even feel like entering the WPA code

nevermind connecting to my home network did not automatically ruin my 3.0

It seems like I have to run the internet connection twice to run home brew .

Install then run .

Is this like a tethered Homebrew?

As in tethered to a working internet and not permanent ?

The last thing I want to mention is that TuxSH has a WIP port of the 3DS FTPD app for the Switch. A compiled NRO is linked from this tweet: https://twitter.com/TuxSH/status/965672772264488963

Note that it shows your IP as 0.0.0.0, just get your IP from the internet settings in the Switch. Also from what I've read it only works 1 way to send a file to the switch. I can confirm that it can do this successfully.

This is handy to put on the SD card prior to attempting the Homebrew installation because removing the SD card from the Switch will trigger a reboot which breaks the "Run" portion of the Homebrew launcher and requires that to be retriggered from the exploit. If you get FTPD installed on your SD card prior; you will be able to load more NRO's on your SD card as they become available without having to rerun the exploit.
