how to open an nca file for editing?

Hello, I don't know if anyone has managed to edit NCA files

I have managed to extract the NSP

I have the NCA.cnmt file (control, program, manual etc)

I have managed to extract the NCA files, but I would like to know what program do you use to edit the files?
Has anyone edited those files? And if so, what program did you use to edit them?

You use hactool.

You don't edit NCA. You either unpack them or create new one.

To create new one you can use hacPack. To unpack you can use hactool or hactoolnet.

Or if you have Switch, just use DBI to mount installed game via USB MTP. You will get access to files packed into NCA via USB plug&play.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
