Hacking How to preserve disc to .ISO?

I recently successfully RGH'd my 360 Slim. I'm interested in backing up my games, to launch from my HDD, play in Xenia, and preserve.
I'm aware games can be "ripped" by copying their contents to a folder and repacking them into a different format, but I'd like to preserve the raw disc data.
Can this be done from the 360 itself? Or do I need to use a PC for this? Would the DVD drive from the 360 itself work for this?

Xbox Backup Creator is needed (not 100% sure if it's spelled like that) and a 0800 flashed Liteon drive (Benq also works) or Kreon drive (can't backup XGD3 iirc)

You'll have to use a PC for it yep.
A connectivity kit and SATA adapter would be useful, I recommend the X360 USB Pro V2, it has both of those build in.
