Hello everyone!
The title of the thread says it all, so I will just go ahead with it.

Video explanation:



Text explanation for flashcarts that support r4 firmware v1.84b:
  1. Backup and format your SD card (fat32 with 32KB clusters)
  2. Download and extract the "Easy install.rar" file
  3. Copy all the files into your SD card root

Text explanation otherwise:
  1. Backup and format your SD card (fat32 with 32KB clusters)
  2. Download and extract the "Manual install.rar" file
  3. Find the appropriate files for YSMenu in the "YSMenu" folder
  4. Copy your firmware files into the root of your SD card
  5. Copy the two files inside "GBARunner2.rar" and the proper YSMeny files into the root of your SD card

All that is left now is boot up your DS and access GBARunner2.nds through YSMenu.nds and you are good to go!

EDIT: Forgot to include the files, you are able to find it in the description of the video (can't upload here because of copyright)

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
