I've looked up various video tutorial and it's pretty simple but my phone has different options so I have decided to ask you lot which one it is.

Touch&LCM Test
Auto Test
Manual Test
Item Test
Debug Test
Clear eMMC
Version
Reboot

Clear eMMC? Nay. Version? Nay. Reboot? Definitely nay. Not sure what the 'Test' options are all about.

Thanks.

Are you rooted?

Your recovery menu is relatively weird, is that what appears when you try "adb reboot recovery" (using adb of course).

I just press Volume Down + Power and this shows up. I'd like to root it but don't want to take any chances.

Recovery Mode
Fastboot Mode
Normal Boot

If you can't get the option through recovery mode, the only other options I can think of involves root or at the very least an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery but even now safetynet seems to be getting triggered by an unlocked bootloader.

That said, why do you want to clear the cache?

I'll enter that Recovery Mode and see what it has...

Ah, there it is. :)

Reboot system now
Reboot to bootloader
Apply update from ADB
Apply update from SD card
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Backup user data
Restore integrity check
Mount/system
View recovery logs
Power off

Thanks for your help.

What chances? Rooting either works or it doesn't, and the process can't result in any sort of brick (unless you're flashing/sideloading something, but that's rare these days). Flashing a custom recovery and ROM is what's "risky". It's incredibly hard to ruin a phone past repair though.
