Hacking I have a PS4 slim with firmware 4.01, What are my options?

I got it for Christmas in 2016. Never updated the firmware. It's on 4.01. I haven't really played it much. But now I want to get into it. What are the benefits of a hacked PS4? What are things I can do and can't do? Because right now I really want to play kingdom hearts 3. And have access to the psn. To download dlc and game updates. Would I be able to get those things with a hacked system? Or am I out of luck?

You can update to 5.05 and enjoy a lot of homebrew and back up games, but you can’t play online or play KH3 on 5.05.

Perhaps use it for a while on 5.05 before deciding?

I would recommend selling the low fw console and buying another higher firmware one (or better swap) to allow someone who can’t get hold of a 5.05’able console the chance to do so :)

Like kiiwii Said..hack It , fill It up with some games and sell It for profit..buy another PS4 (Preferable the PRO one)for your needs of newer games.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
