Hacking Idea? NTRboot .firm chainloading

Is it possible at all to have ntrboot load a .firm which is a chainloader which you can then use to select various .firm files?

It seems to me that it would be nice to be able to choose if you want decrypt9 or godmode9 on the go without PC access

only practical if your NAND chip is physically damaged (soldering accident? Spilled milk (literally)? NTRBoot->Luma->emunand would be an interesting workaround, but I think it would be cool for a day or two before anyone who needed it would throw the thing away and buy a new one. It would get old, pretty darn quick.
