Gaming In Animal Crossing Wild World, is there a way to keep a neighbor from moving out of town?

I really would like my neighbor Apollo to stay. Is there anything I could do/say to him? Thanks.

Give him things he likes, be nice to him, and be sure to do most anything he suggests. Keep the town in really good shape too. Neighbors start leaving if the town starts getting out of hand.

Keep everything going, and you may have a neighbor forever.

If they said they are leaving - act quickly.
Talk to him lots and lots, choose nice, appropriate answers and eventually he will change his mind, guaranteed

The state of the town helps overall as well. Pull up all weeds, plant/water flowers, and don't litter. If your town is in bad shape all your residents will be more apt to leave.

What I did and allways worked was to message them with a random gift... Even with fruit, and they stayed.
