Hi!
I guess my title explains most of my question. Lately I've been modding my pal consoles (md, ps1, ps2) and I came to the knowledge that using an lcd tv and rgb doesn't give you exactly 60hz because of different frequencies in the crystal oscillator. The refresh rate is only like 1% off however when using composite cables you won't get colors.

I'm planning on modding dual frequency oscillators in my md and ps1, but I was wondering if anyone knows if ps1 games played through a ps2 has this reduction in refresh rate too? I've looked all over the internet and even posted on psx-scene, but not found anything so my guess is no.

Thanks for all replies!

So not a lot of interest in this I see.. Anyways, I did a test with my phat ps2 with a modbo 4.0. I connected it to the tv with a composite cable and booted an ntsc game and I got colors. I figure this means the pal PS2 will play ntsc ps1 games correctly.
