Hardware Is it possible to have an "Ultimate 3DS"?

Question for OP, why use the Akwox tempered glass for the top screen and the HORI protective filter at the bottom? Is there a reason for using two different brands rather than one or the other? I'm just curious.

Just figured tempered glass would be better than the material HORI was using, which, by the way, isn't even listed.

I've always wanted the 3DS to have far better speakers. Like some small hd or high quality sounding kind instead of the crap they put in it

that is a good assumption. I have the Akwox glass protectors on my LBW O3DS XL, Hyrule Gold N3DS XL, and both of my friend's N3DS XL consoles and they are definitely nicer than the plastic ones.
I even got one for my PS Vita and that one is nice also.
