Is it possible to replace the Sony PSVita internal battery at home?

Anyone know if this can be done on a workbench with average tools, or do you need a wetbench and HEPA filters? Just kidding. I'm sure an electronics store can do the replacement, anyone done it at home can chime in? OR if you took it in, how much did it cost?

That seems very straightforward. It even looks like if you are careful, you can replace the battery without removing the back cover ribbon connection...

You can even replace the charge port from Micro USB to USB-C if you know what you're doing.

My OLED Vita would be a lot better with a new battery (doesn't seem very reliable anymore) and a USB-C port, but I'll just keep as it is since I don't do hardware mods.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.

truth be told, i agree with psi, i dislike both candidates, but i'd probably vote trump simply because the economy was better during his presidency

Just be careful, if trump ends up winning and using project 2025 America might really change...for the worse.
