Hi all!

So i got PS3 slim cech 3003B with hen.

i cleaned it inside and repasted it with cooler master paste.

I went in webman settings to see temps and left it like that for about 30 min.
Now the temp in upper-right corner is:

CPU: 59°C | RSX: 67°C
Fan: 29%
in XMB

It's stable, its staying there.

Can someone tell me is that normal (also ambient temperature here is not that cool) and what could be wrong?

Also when i touch it below the console, where cpu/rsx is, its pretty warm, and also on the bac of the console, abowe where hdmi cable goes, above it.

Could it be that u put to much thermal paste, to little, or something else?

Heres the pic of thermal paste and how much i put:

I've always smoothed out thermal paste. those temps are about average, though I'd keep an eye on it. a rule of thumb is you don't want one temperature to be anymore than 10-12 degrees C higher than the other one. that usually indicates a problem. mine might be like 64C for cpu and 67C for rsx after about an hour with a 2500 series with maybe 34% fan speed. it runs hotter than my 360 when both are idle, and my 360 is a falcon (an older phat). a large part of it depends on fan speed, whether there's a problem.

btw, the cell can endure heat better than rsx, so the rsx generally runs a little hotter. as long as the fan speed isn't 60%+ while on idle (probably even playing a game), those are good temps. 68 and below is considered good, which is why wmm has that as the default temp threshold.

That's a weird ass thermal paste application.
if you mean wide line, thats how its getting out of tube.

Though id apreciate if you share how you think is good way?

i set wmm to auto "68" instead of system controlled.

this is something weird i noticed
so im playing sonic generations 30 min. now, and
when i wanna see temps i click ps button, and with start and select i see readings:

cpu 58
rsx 66
fan 28-40

by the way, should it be almost hot/warm below the console?

i've managed to keep 42º 44º respectively, with 35% min fan speed. It is a little loud, but i became used to phat ps4 noise, so it is not so bad

best way to drone out fan noise is with speakers. the only system I might hear is the 360, trying to keep it below 60 degrees C with a phat.
