is my switch patched or not?

Hi everyone. I'm interested in a switch and the box is from the 2017 version, however the serial starts with xaj9 which is not present on the ismyswitchpatched site. Do you know if the Switch with this serial is patched or not? Thank you

If it a refurbish unit, it can possibly explain the xaj9

No way to be sure other then to test it. Try booting it to RCM and see if it works. If it can boot into RCM then it's unpatched.

the problem is that I have to buy the console, I don't have it on hand so I can't test it myself

for xaj9 is "probably" so the only way to tell is putting on RCM and injecting a payload.

It could be refurbished. In this case, i think it is “Possibly patched”, depending on whether it was refurbished by nintendo, and whether or not it was simply a cosmetic (replacing outer parts such as the screen and shell) or a hardware refurbish (replaces damaged parts or broken parts of the hardware with working, functional parts.)
