LolI opted to not share error codes with Nintendo in the system menu. I would assume they wouldn't read them from my console regardless... That would be a privacy violation I would imagine.
They are banning people even if you opt out.I opted to not share error codes with Nintendo in the system menu. I would assume they wouldn't read them from my console regardless... That would be a privacy violation I would imagine.
I wouldn't say delusional. Maybe just not educated enough on the matter. Has anyone here read through the ToS? I wonder what it actually states about data collection?Lol

Facebook told you the same thing. Don't trust anyone, delete those logs!I opted to not share error codes with Nintendo in the system menu. I would assume they wouldn't read them from my console regardless... That would be a privacy violation I would imagine.

They don't need to since there are users who have been banned with this option already disabledIs it possible for Nintendo to force enable the error reporting in future firmware and take away the option to disable it?
What loop holes? They will have loopholes for certain errors to be allowed through regardless of consent.
Right now there isn't a method which we know to be safe.
until there is such a method.always stay offline
Legal ones. Not that anyone is going to take them to court over error reporting without consent, but you can bet the lawyers have put something in the TOS to cover it.What loop holes?
What loop holes are those?Legal ones. Not that anyone is going to take them to court over error reporting without consent, but you can bet the lawyers have put something in the TOS to cover it.
The option in settings only hides the logs from third parties, it literally says that when you try to disable. All logs still go directly to nintendo. What loop holes are those?
Can you point out exactly where they are?The option in settings only hides the logs from third parties, it literally says that when you try to disable. All logs still go directly to nintendo.
