Do they actually work together? I put the text ips in alongside the no outline and no outlines are fine but text seems the same.

They would still see the titleID and would be able to recognize which version you are using to connect.

You get the seed on release day unless you installed the official leak over the preload in which case you'll need to import a dummy seed.

You will not. If it's asking for seed, you got the preload and not the leak. It would literally take longer to get the seed than just waiting on the game to come out.

since we have the unprotected game already would it be possible to compare it to the protected preload and find out the seed? probably not but I'm just wondering.

I'd use it to unlock my preload but if it's not possible I probably won't bother deleting it to install the leak

Nah, the leak is a cartridge dump, the seed wouldn't be included.

Pretty sure the leak is (obviously) a cart and I may be mistaken but I don't think carts have seeds. Pretty sure that's a digital thing only no?
