Does it make a difference if the game is on CD or external hard drive?
I can connect to the Wii U no problem, but codes aren't working after being sent successfully(Super mario 3d world). Have verified that the region is correct.

It seems there is a bug in the search function when it tries to plan the next search.
My guess is that when the values are to widespread the planning function just stops and it reports it didn't find any values.
To shorten your debugging I attached a search. It's a search from SSB4 but I think the bug should happen with every game when you try to search while the this search is loaded.

Can anyone point me to where I can find the controller address and button codes for the Wii controller as used by the Wii wheel on the WiiU.
This would be to substitute the Wii controller in place of the WiiU controller in JGeckoU coding.

It usually varies between game.
I'm specifically looking at Mario Kart 8 and using the Wii Wheel (using Wii remote) but on the WiiU.
So if I understand right if I was to use the Wii wheel on a wii the controller address would be 2834xxxx and wii wheel 1 would be 1462 for the xxxx
resulting in 28341462. What I'm looking for is the corresponding address for a wiiU using the wii wheel (using the wii controller). On the Wii the 28341462 did not change from game to game. I know for the wiiU for the WiiU Game pad at 102F48A8 for controller 1.
I just have not been able to find the address for the Wii controller on a WiiU anywhere.

Id gladly find it for you, but i do not have my wii U at my place currently. Every controller is somewhere in the 10000000 - 12000000. The Pro controller and gamecube controller via the adapter are both in that area so im willing to bet the wii remote is also in that area
you could search for it yourself by doing an Unknown Search in jgecko in that address range and searching for changed values.

No. You add them with the user interface and it creates the XML. You can still download other people's XML files to get the whole code list into the program instantly.

oh okay thanks

any idea where i can find XMLs as Cosmo Cortney's site seems to be down

Also I am getting errors every time I try to read/dump memory and then the console freezes :( any ideas?

I don't think it works on cd since you can't write to them. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Hi guys. I was wanting to use the Zelda Twilight Princess Trainer, but have been reading on here that it no longer works. Are there any J Gecko U cheats for Twilight Princess? If yes, where can I get them? Cosmo Courtney's site seems to be down... Thoughts and help greatly appreciated :)

JGecko U does not work with Twilight Princess HD anymore unfortunately. You can, however, use SD cheats with codes from CosmoCourtney's site (yes, it's down right now but it will be back up eventually). I find SD cheats very inconvenient but it's the only way to cheat in TP HD as of right now.

How do I use SD cheats? I am mainly looking for codes for max hearts and max rupees. I tried to add these codes to J Gecko U:

99999 Rupees
00010000 10647B4E
0000270F 00000000

All/Max. hearts
00000000 10647B4B
00000050 00000000

When I tried to add the Max Hearts code, it said invalid line spacing or something... Any help greatly appreciated :)

Import it into JGecko U and export the GCTU file to your SD Card. I'm not sure of the correct path right now, but JGecko U should tell you. Apart from that, use @BullyWiiPlaza 's tutorial right here:
