Hardware Joycon problem

I know am fu*kd up but any help will be highly appreciated
I destroyed the power connector on my joycon motherboard can i solder the ribbon cable to it directly
and if it possible how and what is the steps as am not skilled in this things
I have some pictures to show you what o mean

You’ll have to be careful with the plastic. Don’t hold it down for too long in one place, but yes, as long as you can assemble it carefully afterwards there will be no issues with “tinning” the pads on both the board and then the cable and then bringing them together and wiping across them to quickly finish the joint. Tinning is just getting some solder on each pad beforehand.

Here’s a short e minute video of exactly how you want to move yiur iron to finish the joint:

Notice how shiny with solder the pads and cable look? That’s the prep you need to do beforehand. At worst you’ll have to replace your joycon, which is exactly where you are right now so you really have nothing to lose with your attempt. Good luck!
