Do you need any kind of special hardware to dump or is it all software based?

there are ways to dump via
1)wifi
2)using slot 2 devices
3)custom hardware

ive seen a few people saying when dumping at 50% the dumper freezes and the data is unreadable

most likely becuase of the DSI data in the rom causing problems

might have to wait to a group with the custom hardware can dump all the data rather than using one that dumps through DS ram

Wouldn't it suck if the anti piracy thing is like some new one where you can't even dump the data

just means the DS dumping tools would need to be upgraded
the Custom hardware ones shouldnt have no problem

but the info's no confirmed
but sounds sounds like something that could happen

So when you say you've read of this do you mean with this game or with other games that have had similar anti dumping security?
And if the custom dumpers have to be upgraded how long would this take?

ive read in a few places people tryed to dump but failed

the dumper could only be upgraded once the people that code it have the DS cart
DSI data has always been a problem with roms dumps (u will see that many are nuked as DSI caused trouble)

custom hardware doesnt use a dumper tool
copy and paste
connects directly to cart rarther than going through DS

noobs should not be seen or head

the group need the actual game to do it lol
so i am not expecting a dump till day of release or few days after even

then the AP has to be fixed
all cards are gonna need an upgrade for it to work as even if the AP is removed custom sav's are gonna be needed as the amount of features that are gonna use it are going to make it a uncommon size

big games for small stores they sometime do sell early copies as they want more room for more stock

Leave it to the big release groups, they'll fix it

I read that apparently you gotta have some sort of bios in the same folder as the ROM.
I'm not sure how legit that is though... don't quote me.
