Just Die Already, the next game from Goat Simulator designer Armin Ibrisagic, was announced for PC last year with a rather unique trailer that parodied Death Stranding and in which Ibrisagic included a personal message for Hideo Kojima:

Shortly after, a Cyberpunk 2077 parody trailer was also released for Gamescom 2020. PC gamers also had access to a playable demo but now console gamers will soon have access to the game as it has just been revealed that it will also be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Just Die Already is described as an "Old People Mayhem Sandbox" game where players (alone or competing in a four-player online multiplayer mode) take part in dangerous challenges to earn a spot in a retirement home and qualify for free care. For the console announcement, a new trailer was released:

Just Die Already takes place in the near future at a time where population growth has stalled to zero, presumably because having to wear a mask at all times somewhat hinders any amorous encounters. As a result, nobody is being born, nobody is paying into the pension pot, and nobody is covering your living costs.

To make things worse, you’ve just been kicked out of your retirement home, and your only option now is to perform dangerous challenges to qualify for free care. Players can either take on Just Die Already alone or compete in four-player online multiplayer, ticking off dangerous challenges that put your life - and, indeed, every single bone in your body - in pure peril.

You’ll get hit by cars, you’ll lose the odd limb or two, and you’ll smash into the ground after launching yourself from a catapult, all in the process of earning that spot at a prized retirement home.

There is currently no release window for Just Die Already except that it is coming soon to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.
