This isn't my typical post but its on my mind today. I have been thinking about how important my children are to me. I really need to say this and the one it needs said to will not listen. So I am putting it here.

When a man has a child many things change. His heart mostly. For the first time in his life he looks truley into his own creation.
Relization settles in and his life becomes the childs. He will give of himself to his children that which he has givein no other.
For the rest of his days that part of him is gone. Bore in his childs heart. The investment does not go un-rewarded. Now instead of
striveing for a raise he strives for I love yous. Instead of driveing a better car he is pushing a bicycle. Instead of worrying about
the bills he is worried about the boo boos.
His idea of self achievment falls away replaced with the accomplishments of his children. The first time his child says his name is
better than paying off a morgage. The first steps the child takes are greater than his promotions. Sending them to school for the first
time and watching them go bravely is more satisfing than wining the lottery.
Fathers sit quietly and dont say much. Sometimes I used to wonder why mine did. I understand now it is hard to speak when you are in
awe of the greatest thing you have ever done.

I love my kids so much and do not want to be in a world they are not in everyday...
sorry

You're a damn fine father, Bud.
And those kids of yours are simply incredible.

So many of my very best wishes go out to You and Yours.....

(For the people that don't know, this fella is my best friend in the world, and very much my mentor)

I know my dad loves me, but he's usually quiet too.
Now I know why.

my dad is a piece of shit, I will NEVER EVER EVER have children

Can I ask why?

I want to be a father and I'm going to be the best or at least I'm going to try I actually want a boy.... But when your getting a baby, everynoe says it doesn't matter, just let it be healthy.
