On my R4i, it says "disk errcode=-83 Please reset system" when I start the rom. What's wrong?

the xdelta gui doesnt work for me. used the xenophobia release and im waiting and waiting and nothing happens... no patched rom. anybody knows a solution?

Try using cmd.

To use it you go to run them type in 'cmd'

Then when in cmd you type 'cd (Directory of where the files are. eg. \Users\Documents\HGSS)'

Then when in the folder where your files are type in 'xdelta.exe patch .patch (romname).nds patched.nds'

This should create a .nds file with the name 'patched' use this to play the game.

EDIT: Remember to take away the brackets and quotation marks.

I did exactly as you had written. The result is a "Patched.nds" with zero kb size. What to do?

I hope a 'real' patch comes out soon. A patch to fix the freeze of the US version, not a patch to add English text to the fixed Japanese version...

Its most likly an unclean rom?

its the same!!! no difference from the U rom!!

there are some minute diffrences, such as a game corner with SLOTS, nicknames are limited to 5 hars but thay are stupid anyways

Yes, the DS is region free and can play any game cartrage, and connect to any game cartrage

Yes just make sure the .nds and the .sav have the asme names

Thanks for all this. Getting a hold of clean Jap game right now is pretty hard, almost all of them are prepatched with english trans. I know its illegal to ask for a site so I wont.
