Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening DX save files do not work

After recently purchasing the EZ Flash Junior Jr, I have followed all of the tutorials for formatting the SD card, creating the SAVER folder, and bought an AC adapter for my Gameboy Color. The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening DX goes through the Save process, but once I open a different game, and then go back to Zelda to start from where I left off, the save game data is not showing. Any ideas?
