Except it's only available to people who bought a JPN 3DSLL last month.

EDIT: I stand corrected. This is likely the version that came with the 2DS bundle in Europe.

They did release a CIA installer called "Dev Menu", but Gateway blocked it. Maybe they don't like competition

That's what I mean. There's no real reason that Gateway has to only allow user-mode access like what games have, they clearly have full kernel access to do whatever they want with the system... they probably are just afraid that if they opened it up to full kernel access inside the updated emuNAND, that people could figure out ways to replicate all their stuff open-source and put them out of business.

I like how a lot of topics lately end up talking about the DevMenu. Gateway is still making progress beyond the 3DS scene, as our favourite devs had to reverse the latest launcher to get access to the 7.X encryption.

If Gateway is put out of business, the 3DS scene will get a big slow down.

With GateWay saying they're working on the game subsave system hopefully this development has come in time for them to hopefully include support for roms with DLC and our older saves.

I mean the unpacked DLC. Isn't it encrypted with a console-specific key or something?
