It's been a few months since i last posted anything on Temp so i figured i might as well now. It's not like i haven't been here, i'm pretty much on every day i just don't feel like doing any posts.
First off I just started my 2nd term of classes this week. I can't say much about my opinion of them so far except that it is going to be a large increase in workload compared to last term. My schedule is alright, i'm still with 2 out of my 3 good friends i made in first term, one of them is in a different schedule set-up so he doesn't have any common classes with us other than the online ones we have. Some of my courses this term include Linux, Windows Server 2008, hardware and routing protocols. the other courses that i have are just 2 business courses i have to take.
I am really proud of my marks from last term, i managed to get a 3.85 GPA. I had A+'s in 2 courses and A's in 3 others. I would have been able to get slightly better though if it hadn't have been for my writing course, in which i got a C+ but with 2% more would have had a B-. I am actually an ok writer when i am given time to research the topic a little bit but we were only given 45 minutes to read the prompt and write a 5 paragraph response. A lot of the time i had little to no knowledge on the topic either which sucked. I understand in part why we have to take this course, the school wants us to learn how to write properly and use proper grammar, but the section i am in is for IT and all of the groups of IT were kind of common. If we are in IT we will not likely be writing 5 paragraph responses where we have to restate our thesis in the workplace, we will be writing memos and an occasional report.
Concerning my foster siblings, they've been doing ok. There fortunately haven't been too many hospital trips for either of them since the last post i made. The only thing that has been going on is that they will sometimes have really bad seizures. These take maybe a day for them to turn back to their normal selves but i'm just glad they aren't in the hospital all of the time.
I haven't really been gaming a lot mostly just casual when i have little to do. I finally beat Assassin's Creed, still need to get the second one. I got the new Castlevania: Lords of Shadow game and thought it was great. Normally i have trouble beating games, not because they are tough but because i get bored of them. This was not the case with Castlevania though, i thought it was great and am really excited for the DLC that is coming for it as i finally have some Microsoft points.
Over my 2 week winter break i kind of just hung out at my mom's place and read some manga online.I read all of the series Suzuka in 3-4 days if i recall correctly, and have begun to move on to some more seinen and shounen manga that have romance in them. Yesterday I read all of the chapters so far for the manga "Kimi No Iru Machi", which is written by the same author as Suzuka and if you pay attention you will see some of the same characters making quick cameos. Also i have begun to read more sports manga, i think that this may have started when i began to read "Eyesheild 21" and realized that the sports manga are pretty good even though i have never really been interested in sports at all.
The only thing about the romance manga that has kind of turned me off is that it reminds me that I have always been single and have trouble talking to girls. I don't mean that i clam up when speaking to them, i'm really shy and it's just that i either don't know that i like them till it's too late or that i become too close of a friend. The friend zone is where i end up very quickly. I am kind of happy that i didn't have any relationships in high school just because of all of the drama. From what i can tell there seems to be lots in high school more than any other point and at my high school it was pretty bad.
Oh well, i guess that is all i can think of at this point. I am once again going to try my best to become a bit more of an active member on this site and actually post. I think that i am going to set up something to automatically log me in and that might help. Thanks for reading, see ya!
