Made my first custom GBA with USB C battery

I've made a custom GBA SP with IPS screen before but I've never done the original GBA. I used a Funnyplaying IPS screen and a shell, lens and buttons from RetroSix. The shell is very nice, much better than the ones out of eBay/China I also have. It fits together well and has a soft-touch rubberised feel to it. Really nice to hold and play!

The battery pack is also from RetroSix, and so far, so good. I can charge my GBA on the same charger as my Switch

Couple that all with my new Everdrive X5 Mini and I've got the perfect GBA handheld I reckon. Love this thing!

Have any of you made an IPS GBA? How'd it go?

Hey! The lens is one of the ones sold on RetroSix. I didn't have to do anything to it. The whole mod was fairly simple, I just had to drop everything in.

Bought the RIPS V3 for original Gameboy. Combined with precut Gameboy shells, it was one of the easiest mod I ever did that resulted in a new life for a damaged Gameboy.

Wish I done the Gameboy Advance one first because I have more GBA games than original Gameboy games in my collection.

I'm planning to convert me SP to a IPS screen one day and install the dehiss kit.
Figured that if I'd spend 70 quid on a new screen, might as well replace the old caps whilst I'm at it.

Wow. It looks great and you're also a great with a digital camera as your shots could pass as an advertisers product. The GBA has some really great games so I hope you get to play the fuck out of your new creation.

As far as I know the USB-C recharable batteries don't support fast charging.
