That's only super secure because nearly all their games are on PC too, and they gave the community what they wanted(homebrew). Nintendo would never do either of those. loland xone

If a respected developer like him didn't find out anything there is nothing to do.This isn't true. I've spent ~500 hours trying to hack mariko. There just aren't any bugs.
it should be a crime to open more threads about mariko hacking, if the OP ist not a well known person
Why? Because you don't like it? Cancel the cancelling and don't read the thread. What's it to ya?
I think it's good to keep info flowing. SciresM even stepped in to educate. Pretty good read. And a worthwhile thread imho.
The threads that are worthless are the ones where people want to run multiple cfw and get bullied in to using one with propaganda and partial truths. Threads where questions are answered with manipulation and arrogance. Keep the conversation going! It's good for the scene.
Questions and ideas are a sign of intelligence.
maybe it's just me, but it fells like every few days someone opens a new thread about mariko hacking
maybe i hadn't complained if there were one central thread about this topic
People have to understand the truth. CFW and Mods are dying on consoles Look at last gen PS4 was partially cracked, Xbox One Never Cracked, and only the V1 Switches are moddable , there is a modchip for the switch but it's hard to find now since SXOS is no longer here.
Can only agree, besides that just look at Deja Vu, PegaScape, Caffeine or whatever it was called, it should be supportet up to 7.0.0 but was never portet after 4.1.0, donno if that ever worked on Mariko, but it shows how little effort was made on the patched Erista consoles
Most devs won't buy one or put their necks out there for it when there are a ton of unpatched consoles out there. And you heard ScireM.. 500 hours. No pay. You're lucky you got what you got. Go on Ebay and buy a hackable tablet. Cheaper than a chip with install.
If they're trash you hack it yourself. Mikey is awesome. There's only one exploit left. The source code for the firmware has been leaked. It's been combed over time and time again. Unless they find a bug in a cartridge game that can be use for a save game exploit there's probably not going to be another option. Also just because there's an entry point doesn't mean they have everything else they need to utilize it to run unsigned code. But you know that since you're so amazing right?-snip-
just get one of those sx os clone modchips if you have a Mariko or I think the oled switch is called Aula or something like that.-snip-
Sorry, I know you're good at what you do but to say there's NO exploitable bugs is a stretch. No software is perfect and even the best cyber security companies get pwn'd once in a while. You're telling me Nintendo of all companies have managed to create the first unhackable computer? I don't believe that for a second. It's not that it can't be exploited, it's just that you haven't found an exploitable bug yet.Just for the record, as a hacker who's been involved in every cfw-related exploit for the switch and works on this stuff regularly: it's probably not going to happen.
I've sunk ~300-400 hours of my time investigating Mariko exploit stuff.
There are no trustzone bugs. This means no custom firmware.
There are no kernel bugs. This means no shitty fake custom firmware where you pretend you hacked trustzone, which is something I was prepared to work to support if I found the right bug.
Nintendo got the security right this time. Waiting for a software exploit is almost certainly not gonna do anything for you.
To an extent, some things aren't worth the effort, even if they can be done, you have to keep this in mind.Sorry, I know you're good at what you do but to say there's NO exploitable bugs is a stretch. We even have source code. You're S.O.L. it's amazing how all the trolls appear at once. Unless you somehow know better than the people that actually made every exploit so far oh, the only possibility is maybe a save game exploit. And that's only a remote possibility. Why would someone spend another thousand plus hours to do that? Especially for a bunch of ingrates. Just buying exploitable systemSorry, I know you're good at what you do but to say there's NO exploitable bugs is a stretch. hmm I wonder why one would be so insistent to tell one of the most important members of the switch modding community that they are actually wrong and mariko switches can totally be modded if they just try harderSorry, I know you're good at what you do but to say there's NO exploitable bugs is a stretch. And since when is it his job to find an exploit? The community is made up of hundreds if not thousands of people including yourself. If you think there's no exploitable bugs, then go ahead and find one yourself. Go on, we'll wait.Sorry, I know you're good at what you do but to say there's NO exploitable bugs is a stretch.
