If you think Optifine makes Java optimised, you must be on some powerful stuff. Optifine makes Java slightly better, but it still won't run on the potatoes that Windows 10 works on. From reading most of this thread, are you a little kid? You insult and swear at anyone who disagrees with you, and you come up with poor excuses for things that don't fit your narrative. "This thread is not from a scientific perspective"? What? It's a thread discussing Microsoft not doing cross-platform on Java, and introducing the (partially optional and crap) community market into the game. So every perspective is to be considered, not just the "I don't like this because it isn't exactly what I want even if what I want is impossible" perspective.

I agree that not offering updates to the Java Edition is stupid and paid mods, maps and resource packs and skins are stupid but OP needs to calm down and not get angry so easily. It is true that Microsoft offers that Windows 10 edition free as a bonus to those that have the Java Edition so they may eventually have access to the cross platform playing once that becomes available but it'll only be usable by those who have Windows 10 (I can't remember if 8/8.1 was included). Instead of there just being a Windows 10 edition, there should also be a version which will be supported on and optimized for Windows and Mac.
