Hey smea are you planning to convert the same approach here to the 3dscraft? or is 3dscraft just a homebrew test?

not sure what you mean by "convert the same approach" ? at the moment 3dscraft is very little more than a demo. i'd like it to be more, but i have absolutely no time to dedicate to it at the moment, and it doesn't seem like anyone's interested in taking over.

I am not sure it is a lack of interest. It is really hard to get a build environment setup properly. Having the correct ctrulib and aemstro in place is difficult. I currently can't build anything using GPU at this point. I have tried the current release of ctrulib and the latest in git along with aemstro using the reflow suggested in every combination and it ends up with corrupt triangles or with a blank screen.

i'll try to fix that when i can. i'm just insanely busy right now, i don't really have time for any of this stuff.

nowhere does it say that it's opensourced in that post I replyed to. Also thanks for letting me know nicely Technicmaster0
The post he repiled to is about 3DSCraft. He probably thinks that everyone knows that 3DSCraft is open-sourced and the post he replied to implies that it's open-sourced because the person wants to compile 3dscraft on it's own.
But DSCraft still isn't open-sourced.

you might want to actually read the post you're replying to before actually, you know, replying to it.

I think your website is currently down, could you please check that out as I just bought an R4i 3DS and I would absolutely love to play DScraft and Aperture Science.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
