Hacking Discussion modchipsdirect not stocking Xecuter SX OS But are pro (not spam its truth)

Don't know if this was posted or not but was looking at my order on the pro ver on there pages and pulled up the os as i was thinking about buying it from them as well and they posted that this.

There seems to be really low demand for this compared to the SX pro. Since the price is so similar and the tool really is needed we have decided at the moment we will not be stocking this. Please note: THE SX PRO COMES WITH SX OS INCLUDED

Apparently, the profit margin is higher on SX Pro than on SX OS (as someone pointed on one thread out there), they could do it to make a bigger profit.

Got an email today from modchipdirect (ordered on the 21st):

Thank you once again for ordering the SX Pro.

Your order will be apart of the first batch that we get from the team. We have been told that the batch *should* leave the factory and make its way to the US at the end of this week. Please note we have no control over delays, shipping times, and if the package gets stuck in customs for a couple of days. If the team don't ship when they have told us then it pushes everything back.

Please also note that we never get product packaging for our items as we have had issues before with customs delaying and sometimes seizing items simply due to a logo on the packaging. You will still get everything, just not the paper packing.

Best case is that we get the items and ship them all out to YOU before next weekend. Sometime between the 19th and the 22nd.

So after this email you will get another email when the package arrives in the US, the email will say that your order has been dispatched. This is when we have uploaded your order into our packing system.

It might take 2~3 days after that email for you to get your last email, which will be your tracking number.

***Please check the product page for updates before emailing us, we simply cannot run our business efficiently if we have to update everyone everyday on the status of their order***

Ya that is for the pro so your good they are stocking the pro. Its the cheaper stand alone OS they are are not stocking. And the SX Pro comes with the os so your good. same with me I ordered the pro.

Would like to know, when did you pre order? Cause they said you would get it from the first batch. Maybe people that pre orders today wont get it from that batch?

edit: shit i just saw, the 21? Damn, that was long ago, so yeah maybe we wont get our pro from the first batch.

This. If this wholesale site is correct then they'd be buying the OS licenses at $16~ a pop. (Less if they buy more in bulk.) The cheapest place I've seen the OS sold is Axio at $24.99 so they're either not getting the demand (Since most people that want the OS have most likely already purchased it from Axio.) or it isn't beneficial to offer the OS profit wise. They could try to undercut them but that'd be even less profit.

That and I do have to wonder about how many of these sites are equipped to send out hundreds of emails with unique license codes.

Where have you seen 16$ ? Three China distributor is way more and still in the twenties even after 500 units. How many distributors to resellers can there be

Surely the logistics of sending out an email are much more profit-friendly than shipping a physical product.
