Hi.

I’ve got a bunch of xcis on a HDD which I can plug into one of the dock ports and mount fine through SX installer.
Got to say I absolutely love this feature now, after always installing nsps I’ve kind of come full circle.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to mount the xci files when the drive is connected to my PC.
I tried pointing to the drive with a new ftp entry in SX installer file explorer (using Filezilla server on the PC) and could see the list of xcis fine but got an error when trying to mount them in that way.

I’ve tried searching around but only see discussion about installing xcis etc to SD which i’m not interested in.
I like to mount them on demand and to have whole collection not taking up any sd card space

It maybe that the time taken to mount a large file over the network would be a showstopper in any case but just seeing if it’s possible.

Thought I’d check here before posting on the TX forums.

Thanks
