Hey!

So I've just gotten around to moving away from using WBFS partitions to FAT32 for USB loading and have a question on handling .wbfs files.

I have my .wbfs files (i.e extracted from my old WBFS partition and converted to .wbfs) but they are currently on my laptop's hard drive (NTFS & HFS+ - running a Mac with bootcamp).

If i want to transfer the .wbfs files from my laptop to my USB Loader drive (fat32), can I just drag'n'drop the .wbfs files and copy within OSX or Windows? Or do I have use a loader to transfer them onto my new drive?

Thanks!!

You can use your computer's file explorer, if you already have the correct folder's name and filename.
if you have only the files (not in subfolders), I suggest using Wii Backup Manager after moving the files manually, it will move/rename everything correctly.

1. put games in /wbfs/ on your Wii drive
2. launch WBM, go to settings > FAT32 tab
set :
- use subfolder
- layout format : "Title_[ID]"
- auto rename game on mount
Go to settings > name >
set
- Wiitdb
- download titles.
save settings.
Go to the main screen > Drive 1 > Mount the partition with your games, and all of them will be renamed correctly for use with USBLoaders.
