...It’s currently T-Minus 6 hours until MTV’s Europe Music Awards and I’m sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news but… Rick Astley will not be picking up his Best Act Ever award....

It was a bullshit nomination anyway but then many many acts have people "behind the scenes" rigging these awards. It would have been nice to see him win just to piss off the likes of Madonna & co.

This is complete bullshit...Rick Astley is more famous and definately a better performer than those other shit bags. MTV has gone down the shitter...well..I always thought they were shit...this is just a new low.

In the end its all about how much money the agents pump into MTV.

I think in all honesty, Rick Astley does deserve this award. Just do it right now...you can sing his song word for word right out of your head and you will ENJOY IT...it doesn't matter what genre of music are into...as long as you listen to his song...you're into it. That my friends, is the Best Act Ever...

Who the fuck is Tokio Hotel?

Maybe if people just voted normally and didn't rig the voting process...

The MTV site actually encouraged people to multi vote though. They clearly didn't set up any rules for it and once you did vote, a message would tell you to hurry up and vote again for your candidate to win. Tokio Hotel people "rigged" votes as well.
