My friend let me borrow his Wii and we rented mario striker charge. All i have to say is the Wii is awesome. I never thought it could be that much fun to play a wii like back in the days of the nes/snes. My daughter really loved it, so we already got her a wii for xmas but she cant open it till xmas eve. She doesnt know we got it for her, she is going to be so happy, i cant wait to see her face.

Oh yeah.
They're definately fun the first time.
Soooo much fun and addicting.

And letting her play it on Christmas Eve?
Dude, let her open it on Christmas, it'll make her enjoy it more, I think.

Yeah i wanted to open it right away but we wanted her to have an awesome xmas, so saving the wii till xmas would be the best. Who wouldnt love to get a wii for xmas this year. Luckily my best friend let me borrow his wii for a little bit since he hasnt been playing it lately. I cant wait to play carnival games, it seems pretty good.

make sure she doesnt throw it at TV or anything.
assuming that your girl is underage.

P.S. i'll play my first time with Wii in next days, maybe tomorrow or next day after it and guess what i'm dying for ... Super Paper Mario.

Super Paper Mario looks amazing! I've yet to play it for Wii...though I'm supposed to get my Wii modded (I've waited a month or two to ship it this fella to solder it for me

).

Definately make sure your daughter uses her wrist strap - I know a little girl at my school who broke a plasma TV with one!

I'm not sure - it looks promising though, rhyguy.

The first one was supposed to be a pretty big hit, this one should be also.

Football & Mario should be fun.

aw dude, thats a nice christmas present.

I remember long ago when i was getting zelda ocarina of time for my n64 on christmas (or was it my birthday?) and i couldn't wait (even though i had never played a zelda game before). I searched the house for it and found it (it hadn't been wrapped yet) and started playing it LOL. then my parents found out and hid it again. i had to wait agonisingly for a week or two.

oh and i remember when i was obsessed about the upcoming release of wii. every day i visited various news website searching for news confirming how cool wii would be.

however somehow i decided to buy a DS instead (couldn't afford the wii, plus DS had flashcarts).

i had a little go with the controller after it was released. it felt very nice, reminiscent of the n64 controller except softer.

however the library of games and less than perfect modchips have discouraged me from buying a wii. However i'm pretty sur ei'll get one if some more good games come out and the wii (not GC) homebrew scene begins.

Yeah she really wants one, she might even try to save her own $ to pay for 1/4 or 1/2 of it, thats how much she wants it, she is only 11. But im sure i will never see a wii in stock again the rest of the year. Last why i was so lucky to find one this past week.

Luckily my friend is letting me borrow it till sometime in november.

Yeah she loves it, wants to play it all the time, and my son who is 3 1/2 likes it also. Hopefully she has no idea we already got it for her for xmas, that way it will be an AWESOME xmas for her.
