Hacking N3DS XL Firmware by version number

We're only looking at the first 4 numbers so it's completely possible they switch color mid-sequence. I have a QW1026 and QW1022, both red, that are 9.0.
The only 9.4s reported currently are in the QW40xx series
Avoid red QW40xxs and you should be just fine
VERY LOW....you will have to look at the firmware list and compare before you buy.

This list is really confusing. Which is the highest serial number I should be looking for if I am in the US and want a new3ds at 9.2 or lower?

Looking at the list and it looks like QW4007 & QW1026 are the highest( though some serials are NOT confirmed) as always even with the correct number it COULD STILL be 9.3.
If you do happen to find a spare pick me up one...I got you

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
