Name the Switch successor: what should Nintendo call its new console?

switch2.jpg

Nintendo has officially announced that a successor to the beloved Switch console is on the horizon. As we eagerly anticipate what innovations this new device will bring, there's one fun piece of the puzzle left undecided: its name.

The name of a console is more than just a label; it's the first impression, a brand identity, and often, a crucial element in its success or failure. Think back to the Nintendo Wii, which despite its unusual name, revolutionized gaming with its motion controls and family-friendly appeal. On the flip side, we have the Wii U, whose name caused quite a bit of confusion and didn't resonate as well with the audience.

This is where you come in! Nintendo has always been about innovation and community, and what better way to honor that spirit than by inviting you, the fans, to help name the next generation console? Whether you think it should be something classic like the "Switch 2" or something more creative like "Super Switch Ultra Deluxe" we want to hear your most creative and catchy ideas. Don't hold back—post your naming ideas in the comments below. Feel free to upvote the names you love, and why not add your twist to someone else’s suggestion?

That way Nintendo can make the Google searches for *ahem* alternative software infinitely confusing and annoying.
i dont like this ok

i like going with a nostalgia super switch retro 90s campaign i also like the super power tag line someone mentioned….buuuut if we are doing this

The nintendo nx. We at nintendo are going to bring you into the unknown! New never before seen detail and quality in both portable and home gaming…

um like shouldnt WE be naming the switch here? we could start a petition or something…i vaguely remember the nintendo was called something in japan and something else. Whatever they pick why cant it be japan and we override them?

that way everyone is happy…?

The Nintendo Attach honestly sounds like a logical step up from "Nintendo Switch" & is Nintendo-y enough that I won't entirely discredit the "leak" that it came from.

Nintendo should just name it what it's going to be. An underpowered turd that will have outdated phone hardware that forces game studios to severely compromise the graphics, and even then it can barely maintain 30fps.

"Attaching is good" is a slightly better slogan than the one for the DS.

Super Modern Entertainment System seems like something they would do. Dock would be a large SNES, and the thing would plug into the game slot
