Share your thoughts in the comments, while we look forward to the next main Nintendo Direct and Metroid Prime 4's proper announcement.

PS: Additionally, it seems like Nintendo Switch Online for Japan will be getting Mother 3, but as always, only exclusive to Japan.

No Metroid Prime 4!? :hateit:

Excited for Monkey Ball though.

If I'm not mistaken, that Mickey Brushy game was a glitchy mess in the Wii, no?
So... I'm concerned about the "faithful recreation of the gsme" statement.
Contra seems like it belongs to a PS2 game.

Alright, I'll throw in my opinion:

I though this Partner Direct was actually pretty good!

...but I think that's mostly because I'm either interested in or a fan of the games that were announced.

For those who aren't fans or aren't interested in the games shown, then I can definitely see why this Direct was mediocre or just plain bad for them. Plus, the Direct was mostly ports and remasters, and they took an entire minute to show off multiplayer in fucking Suika Game. Oh, and it's paid DLC. So yeah.

I will say myself some of the games shown didn't really pique my interest either, but-

Monster Hunter Stories?
Epic Mickey remaster?
Star Wars Battlefront?
World of Goo 2?
Fantasy Life i?
Penny's Big Breakaway shadowdrop?
Super Monkey Ball??
FUCKING POCKET CARD JOCKEY???

Yeah, I'm pretty happy.

(Picross S+ is also coming but saying anything good about that will make me look like a filthy casual.)

Also, the fact that they're finally rereleasing Mother 3 again on NSO, but it's still Japan only, is really fucking funny. And sad.

Surprising amount to be excited for to me. Monster Hunter Stories coming to new consoles is great (plus confirmed Steam launch!), very much looking forward to the new Fantasy Life, an entirely new Monkey Ball, and Pocket Card Jockey coming back too after only being accesible via Apple Arcade for a while now.

Bunch of my friends are super hyped for Eternal Ocean too, so maybe I'll check that out. Interesting that Bandai Namco also announced Elden Ring's DLC on the same day though, that kinda sideswiped all my hype lol

Pretty good Direct tbh.
Hype for Battlefront remasters, Epic Mickey, Fantasy Life, Megaten, Crab Soulslike, Monkey Ball and that deep-sea diving game looks pretty cool too.

Man, was so excited for Endless Ocean. Came in expecting a remaster/port of the two games, which would be fucking awesome.

But no, it's a new game! Hype!

And then they go on to highlight randomly generated areas, and my excitement just died. What I really liked about the original was exploring the maps and the wildlife. Now it feels like it'll just be random RNG trial and error to try and collect everything. :/

Then they show multiplayer, which, idk. Maybe if I wasn't already disappointed I might have reacted differently.

Le sigh.

Here's hoping it's still a good game and this trailer was just garbage.

For Partner Showcase standards I'm rather happy with this.

Cool.
However I'd have liked to have seen more of the 5-10s games instead of some.. other games... they've shown.

I'll be "getting" MHS, Penny and Epic Mickey. Considering Arranger, Fantasy Life, Pepper Grinder and ZAU.

Time to update Ryuujinx/Yuzu.
