Nds Bootsrap red "Data Abort" screen / Are my roms corrupted

A few of my roms get red "Data Abort" screens when using them on TwilightMenu

Above is from Partners in Time when getting to the present time

and above is from Spirit Tracks when just, booting it, it worked fine enough for me to get to a save point but now is unusable

Some of my other roms do similar crashes, but it seems not ALL of them are impacted, and 3ds games are working completely fine
My questions are:
Are those roms corrupted and should I just find new ones
Is this fixed by updating TwilightMenu/Nds Bootstrap and if yes can someone please give me instructions as updating them seems a bit overwhelming

• It's possible they're corrupted. Try deleting the "patchOffsetCache" folder in "sd:/_nds/nds-bootstrap/" and try launching the games again, before replacing the ROMs.
