I think it's going into ds mode like ps2 mode on the ps3.Is it just me or the DS Games take some time to load on the 3ds?

I'm having the same problem what i've noticed is the forwarders are overwriting existing ones so they are on the home screen at least for me at least. Which is why if Pokemon Diamond replaced FF3, if I delete Pokemon, FF3 goes off the homescreen. I'm currently trying to find a work around. For some reason, when I install the forwarders they simply don't show up in the home menu, even though they appear on FBI title list,i tried remaking the forwarders, even tried using faketik but nothing changed....

how do you get to the ntr forwarder menu?Yes but did you install twighlight menu?
Did you enable external FIRMs and modules in the luma config menu?
Did you enable widescreen in the ntr-forworder options menu?

If you boot games directly from twighlightmenu ae they showing in widescreen?
Edit wait a moment. On your sd card go into the luma folder. In the luma folder create another folder called sysmodules. Then copy Widescreen.cxi into the sysmodules folder. Finally rename the Widescreen.cxi to TwlBg.cxi and that should fix your problem.

I tryed re-generating all the forwarders at the same time, and it worked.
I had tunnel vision and looked into editing the title ID and didn't think to re-generate them. But it made sense because the new forwarders were giving me problems, thanks for this.
Can you launch the games from TwilightMenu?kinda new here. I've been generating forwarders from both gui and cli successfully , but whenever I launch the forwarders it only gives me black screen (no errors) then after some time boots back to 3ds home menu. I followed all steps prior in making forwarder cias including TWiLightMenu, forwarder pack, bootstrapcia, etc. Tried both 32k & 64k cluster size yet no success. I also checked path.txt in ntr-forwarder folder to make sure I created forwarders with correct path in sd card. From here I'm already stuck, any suggestions for a fix?

yes, it runs perfectlyCan you launch the games from TwilightMenu?
I think it launches into an extra 3ds style app at the beginning (you get the 3ds splash) and then transitions into ds mode. Where twilight and NDS forwarder just go straight into DS mode?it's because i noticed a difference between twilighmenu loading the ds game is faster than yanbf
i've been trying to run ds homebrew games like touhou ds and doom ds,but for some reson they dont work as forwarders, only via twl++
Makes senseBecause the Ds one has a map on the bottom screen
if anyone else is having this problem it might work if you put your rom.nds name at the end of the directory you put in YANBFWhen I start the game I get "start failed. Error -1"
I followed the guide step by step and redid it and looked for a solution and found nothing
Someone help me?
256x128 is the standard for homebrew (possibly the only size for 2D banners? or maybe someone just picked that years ago)I have no idea if @lifehackerhansol still maintains this, but does anyone know if there is any way we can make the banners at a higher res? It seems like vanilla 3ds have some nice large banners, why do these have to be 256x128?
I've seen other home brew with banners larger than this as well, so there should be some way to do it right?
