Hacking NEED HELP: I need someone who bricked attempting CBH, still has access to gamepad. Maybe unbrick?

quick start automatically disables after the wii u has been plugged out for more than 24 hours. Not sure why but it just tells you your console was shutdown for too long. this would only help people who have not yet plugged out their wii u's and are still powered since they bricked

If what OP was trying to do is the same as i am thinking, maybe trying the "TV" button can help too, so we can have any idea if the gamepad still works even when the Wii U is bricked. If that IS the case, we can maybe program something to "quickstart" the quick start menu, bypassing the wii u menu being loaded altogether.
This is 100% theoretical AND pulled out of my ass, i can't code shit, don't sue me please.

I disabled it because I didn't want to risk an update in standby.

This is not possible if you have your DNS set to block the updates.

I honestly don't get where people have got this from. There is NO way that an update can download to your system EVEN IN STANDBY if you have your DNS Settings pointing at TubeHax and Chnckdns (whatever it's called).

Secret updates DO NOT EXIST people. Please stop purporting this rumour as it makes people paranoid.

If you unplug the wiiu from the mains the TV remote still works so maybe something can be done with it.

I bricked by installing to an out of region vc game. I still have access to the tv remote and get an error screen on boot.
