Hacking need help

when i first bought the card i put the firmware on it worked like a charm. When i moved to the card on the menu it said alex rider. well a couple of weeks ago my son told me it quit working. so i grabbed my daughters dslite and tried to update the firmware but it would not work on her lite either. when i moved to the card it does not have a name anymore when using the dsi or dslite can some one help.

The updater gives you an option to swap carts before updating, so place the updater onto another working cart (the other cart has to be working, but doesn't have to be an acekard2i) and run the updater on your working cart. When the updater loads up, it gives you an option to swap carts; without turning the power off, swap your working cart with your broken ak2i and go through the update process.

You seem to have a ds lite, but don't know if you have another working cart (though I'm assuming you do since you have a son and daughter, each with a system). If not, go borrow from a friend.

Just as a note, regardless of what type of DS you run the updater on, you must run the updater meant for the DS Lite because the DSi version does not support hot-swapping!

Use another flashcard to do a switch reflashing. Hope it works.
