I have a modded Wii U and the vWii is also modded but USB Loader does not load the games. Do they have to be wbfs? where do I get those files?

not all usb storage works for usb loader gx, sometimes there's compatibility issues and games just black screen

I had success putting games on a wbfs partition formatted drive, when that drive didnt work in fat32. you could try that

I will try that, thank you so much!

I will give an update for people that are searching for this problem in the years to come (:

Btw, can anybody check if the problem isnt because of the usb drive, but because of something i did wrong, as stated by my syscheck:

if you're using a usb hard drive, those usually work. it's flash drives that have unreliable compatibility. but still, if a flash drive doesnt work when in fat32, there's a chance it could start working if formatted to wbfs. I guess usb loader gx can access wbfs partitions more efficiently than fat32 partitions, maybe.

@XFlak for the syscheck maybe, if he knows vWii enough for this. idk why you have IOS236 but it shouldn't really be breaking anything. If changing your usb drive or reformatting it doesn't help, try updating IOS249-251 to d2x-v11beta1, and/or try the regular (non-alt) versions.

Also I guess it could be useful to know how your usb loader gx is configured (could be using the wrong IOS or something), and what version you're using. I have v3.0-r1281 and I have my games on SD instead of USB, maybe that could be an option if you can't get USB to work.

arguably priiloader will break more than it fixes, because it moves system menu assets to different ids or something and usb loader gx can't get the assets properly anymore for the system menu theme. and a new version of usb loader gx that fixes this problem has not been released yet.

(this is vWii only problem, on regular Wii priiloader doesnt break it)
